Invader’s Mission Miami (2012) is a signed ceramic edition that translates the artist’s iconic pixel aesthetic into a compact, collectible format. Measuring 25 x 21 cm and produced in an edition of 50, the work reflects Invader’s ongoing global “invasion” project, in which mosaic tile compositions are installed in urban spaces worldwide.
The composition features a stylized red Space Invader figure set against a bright blue grid, with simplified clouds and a yellow ground evoking early arcade graphics. The glossy ceramic tiles reinforce the reference to street mosaics while transforming the image into a self-contained art object.
