Banksy Waterloo Place Statue T-Shirt
From the makers of our Bristol Banksy Colston T-Shirt comes a tribute to Banksy’s latest London statement: the plinth statue that appeared at Waterloo Place, just off Pall Mall, in 2026.
The sculpture shows a man in a suit stepping off his plinth, blinded by the large flag he holds, which the wind has blown back across his face. Its location adds to its edge. It stands among monuments to Britain’s imperial past, including the statue of Edward VII and the Crimean War Memorial, and many have read it as a pointed comment on blind patriotism and the figures we choose to put on pedestals.
This is a wearable piece of street art history, marking one of Banksy’s most talked-about public works.
All proceeds from the sale of the T-Shirts will be going to Seen Through Art Community Interest Company, which supports homeless charities in Norfolk.
